I love to quilt and I’d like to share a little of my enthusiasm for all things quilting with any one who stops in. Hope you enjoy browsing and shopping here for some new ideas to add to your own quilting fun.
As a former teacher, I started my quilting career by making embellished handprint quilts with my young students. It is amazing what fun you can have with a painted handprint, some pretty fabric and some interesting trims! The quilts make wonderful keepsakes and can be personalized in so many ways. My books were the result of years of experimenting and trying every idea I could think of.
More recently I’ve been fascinated with fabric yo-yos and the possibilities that they offer as I create and embellish my quilts. Hence the series of appliquéd house wall hangings. Each pattern shows a whimsical scene, made all the more fun by the addition of many many Yo-Yos. The possibilities are endless and I am still experimenting, so keep checking in to see new ideas for these quilts.
