A Dinosaur Quilt

​Last year I released my Dino Party pattern and ever since I've been wanting to re-make it with new and different fabrics. My grandson, James, who loves dinosaurs turned 3 this past weekend, so I wanted to make the quilt for him. I'm always better with a deadline so with his birthday rapidly approaching I got down to sewing and finally was able to complete the new version of the quilt. There are so many ways to change up these pictorial quilts, so it is always hard for me to to decide how and when to finish the original design and move on. Sometimes it is fun to take parts of a design and make a smaller project, too. I'm making another stegosaurus on a pillow just for fun!
