In spite of the disastrous flooding from hurricane Harvey that Houston endured, the International Quilt Market and Quilt Festival will still be going on at the end of October. According to their mayor, Houston is open for business! I hope the influx of quilters to these events will be a help to the area. Thankfully, I made it through hurricane Irma in Florida with few problems, so I'm excited to be heading to market once again with new patterns to share. I took my newest patterns to Jacksonville last month as a preview of what's to come. If you look closely at the picture of my booth in my last blog entry, you might be able to pick them out!
